I have always had a deep love of all things film. When I was a kid, my dream was to be a director.

In 4th grade, there was a weekend my family spent with the grandparents and I couldn’t sleep. My grandma, an artist, decided to sit me down and give me an essay booklet, telling me to write something. That night I wrote my first short story, “The Adventure of Jack Robinson.”

That moment brought a new passion to my life that fit in with my want to be a director. I was meant to be a storyteller.

Since then I have written many short stories and screenplays, but never had the confidence to share them, or in too many instances, complete them.

On June 17th, 2023, I published my first novel, “Empire of the Void,” as a thank you to my dad for sharing with me and bonding with me, over the movies he loved when he was a kid.

I now work hard to better myself as a writer and continue to develop the stories I previously didn’t have the confidence to finish.
